The Stockton Symphony is blessed to have Philip serve as our excellent administrative leader twice. He served as our Executive Director from 2003 to 2007 and then, after serving as Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer for Ballet Memphis for over a decade, he selflessly delayed his retirement to return to us again as our CEO. Philip worked tirelessly to help guide us through the pandemic. He spearheaded many of our most recent community outreach and engagement programs that we now proudly feature each season. Phillip was greatly looking forward to celebrating our Symphony’s upcoming Centennial in the 2026-27 Season. We will miss him dearly, but Philip will continue to be with us in our hearts. We honor Philip by creating this fund to continue the community outreach efforts he championed throughout his tenure.
